Happy retirement to my good friend MSgt Ladine Roth. Ladine has been in the manpower career field for awhile now, but hasn't forgotten her Ops roots. Also retiring Ladine's and my great friend MSgt Marie Becerra. Marie has also been out of the career field in ALS at Edwards AFB, CA. These two joined my team at Beale AFB as SrA in the early 90's. Both were assigned to SSgt responsibilities and accepted without question or trepidation. I knew they could handle it and handle it they did! I wasn't able to make Marie's ceremony but was fortunate enough to attend Ladine's at Randolph AFB. Marie will remain in the Edwards area and Ladine is off to Colo to continue her manpower work as a civilian. Thanks for all your service you two and best of luck. (Old fat ladies should never stand so close to young thin ladies!)

SSgt Alan Cabrera says he has seen lots of bikes on Ops-Talk, but never a "real bike", his GSX-R 600. Hmmm- bet he would be smiling if he were sitting on a Harley! Just kidding Alan! BTW - The military services are testing a new program developed by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF). It's a course designed and taught exclusively for military sport bike riders. I HIGHLY encourage all you sport bike riders to take the course when it comes to your area.

Chief Hunsinger, Wife Linda, sons Allan and Chris and grandson Devon celebrate the Chief's retirement after a long and very distinguished career. Carl we wish you the best. Carl, when you decide about your website let me know and I will add a link to it. Saying thanks doesn't even come close to the appreciation we all feel for what you did for the career field. Best of luck!

John Mattock is still on his annual track to Colo for hunting every year. Here he shows one of this year's 2 bulls. Great time had by all, as always if you are in the company of John! Hey, what's all that gray stuff on your face????
