Officials at Elmendorf AFB AK, added a new street name to their register with the addition of Anderson Circle in honor of AIC Carl Anderson Jr. The dedication ceremony took place in Aug 2005 and was attended by Carl's family and friends. Carl's father was quoted as saying of Jacob Sutton and Mike Helmick, who were both injured in the explosion that took Carl's life "I just thank them for the friendship and being there with Carl Jr., that when his life came to an end, he was not in a place where he did not know anybody." See more about AIC Anderson in Ops-Talk Archives, Sep 2004 issue.

Officials at Little Rock AFB Arkansas also dedicated a street in honor of a fallen warrior. Avenue B West was officially renamed SSgt Dustin Peters Avenue. Avenue B West was chosen for renaming because it is the main thoroughfare for Vehicle Operators stationed there. Dustin's commander was quoted as saying" He was happiest when he was driving and not working inside an office. He was always the first to volunteer to deploy and... the first to volunteer to drive the convoy routes of Iraq instead of doing duty in garrison." A plaque honoring Dustin was also unveiled by the wing commander and Dustin's mother. See more on Dustin in Archives, Aug 2004 issue.

MSgt Eddie St Clair and his wife Letta pass under the gaunlet of swords at RAF Mildenhall's SNCO Induction ceremony. Eddie spent many years at Nellis AFB and has deployed literally everywhere. Congratulations Eddie! That must have been some culture shock arriving at RAF Mildenhall after all those years in Las Vegas!
