Harry Conner, "the glue that keeps dayshift together and productive" as Dispatch Support supervisor at Al Udeid AB.

TSgt Jen Schott, former 2T1, now a load-master out of Dyess AFB TX, stopped by Al Udeid AB to see her former supervisor and current Ops superintendent Aaron Eastman.

I have never had the privilege to work directly with MSgt Dave Heaton but I am"echoing his words" from your October issue of "Ops Talk" as I am winding down from a 20+ year career as a 603/2T1 in the Air Force. I leave the Air Force with some very good memories of the laughter, tears, and pain we have endured over these past 20 years from the Cold War to Desert Shield/Storm to our current Operations in Iraq. I proudly salute each and every 2T1 who is currently serving on convoy duty in Iraq and those who have "completed the mission" and returned home safely to your families. I will miss some of the friends and true leaders I have met during my career. I wish you all "Godspeed" in all you do and as MSgt Dave Heaton stated, "There's a cold one in the fridge for you and will always be a place at my table for a fellow vehicle operator"! Thank You Chief for keeping this web page open for us. It helps to see that there are 603/2T1's out there who do care and show our junior troops that we are a career field that will live forever and can be proud of themselves and what they do in the Air Force. Always a 603! MSgt David S. Parris 60370/2T171 (edited letter)
