When the wing commander asked for a short notice Honor Guard cordon for the visit of SECSTATE Condoleezza Rice, 5 members of the 379th LGRVO stepped up to the plate to fill the requirement. | From the 379th Al Udeid AB Qatar. Members recently relocated an overhang destined for the scrap pile to the Vehicle Ops yard for use as a covered vehicle cleaning area. The overhang was lifted by crane, flipped upside down and loaded onto a 40' tractor/trailer for transport. Once it was in the yard it was again flipped by crane and set upright into place. The finished product gives Ops 2 cooler servicing bays that used to be in the open sunlight. | ||
