MSgt Lucas, who is deployed to Al Salem AB Kuwait for 179 days, ran into one if his former combat truckers, AIC Jacob Green, Elmendorf AB AK, when he was passing through Salem and they got to spend a few hours together. Jacob is very enthusiastic about running gun truck duty and wanted to know how soon he could return to Iraq once his current 9 month tour of duty is up. Thanks guys, for being there! |

AIC Mauro Velasquez, 48LRS/LGRVO RAF Lakenheath, Receiving a purple heart for wounds sustained during action with an enemy force while assigned to 732 ELRS, Truck Det 2632, Balad AB, Iraq. AIC Velasquez also spent some time at Landstuhl Medical Center. GE, after a second attack in the same week. I am told he is doing well and returned to duty in Iraq.
