Capt Scott Belanger (R)of Elemendorf AFB AK on deployment to Bagram AB. Capt B was at Randolph AFB with me, first in the SQ and then as Exec to the 19th AF/CC. He is one of the good guys and I am very proud of what he has accomplished in his short AF career. |

AIC Xylina Johnson of Barksdale AFB LA, conducts a "no-notice inspection" on a static display vehicle at the 8th AF Museum. Now we all know that static vehicles don't need inspections, but not all new 2T1's do. She was being a good airman and doing what she was dispatched to do. Not to worry Xylina, many, many new airmen get "the works" from their more seasoned supervisors. Where do you think they learn that stuff?!!! |

MSgt Alberto Delgado and his wife Socorro with sons, Javier, Luis and daughter Nancy. MSgt Delgado recently retired at Kirtland AFB NM after 22 years of service. MSgt Delgado participated in many operations and deployments during his active service including Boznia. Thanks Alberto for your many years of dedicated service and good luck to you and your family. |

MSgt Marty Lund and company show off their letters from the class of Marty's son Colton. You can see that these letters from home mean a great deal to these deployed troops. When this group has a spare moment they visit local Iraqi school children and hand out supplies. Ya'll are just awesome! |
