After our visit with nephew Troy and his family we headed off to ride the Blue Ridge Parkway. We picked it up in Ashville, NC and headed East. |

We spent the night just off the parkway in the beautiful little city of Spruce Pine, NC. |

After the Pkwy we moved on to West Virginia and stopped off just outside Charleston to visit with a former First Sgt and friends of ours from Beale AFB, CA. MSgt (R) Don Raynes lives there with his wife and daughter, dog, cats, several rabbits and a hog. He is living the real Green Acres life! |
