Scott AFB LRS, Veh Ops conducted their 2nd Convoy Operations training exercise where they learned land navigation/map reading, convoy defense, perimeter defense, vehicle recovery and other lessons while camping out in field conditions for 3 days and 2 nights. |

SSgt Darris Spinks, Barksdale AFB LA, was visiting the Scott AFB IL area after returning from the convoys in Iraq and spoke to Vehicle Operators there giving them a snapshot of what was going on and what they could expect when selected for convoy duty. What a great thing to do! Darris was coined by Scott Flight Commander, 1Lt Donald Sykes. |
