| More on the Flamingo Saga. Seems one of the lovely birds escaped and wasn't long before SMSgt Tom Gilmore gave chase. Tom donned his body armour and headed to one of the holiest plaes on earth, the Ziggurat in the City of Ur, a place which dates back to 2900+ years BC. Tom quickly spooted the wayward bird on top and went after him, huffing and puffing up the 107 steps, coaxing him away from the edge with red jelly beans. Tom picked him up but the elusive bird flew down to the ruins. Afer a good chase around the ruins the bird was captued and returned home safely. |
