A rich merchant had collected many gold coins. He did not want anyone to know about them. One day his wife asked. "How many gold coins do we have?"
After pausing a moment he replied, "Well! If I divide the coins into two unequal numbers, then 64 times the difference between the two numbers equals the difference between the squares of the two numbers."
The wife looked puzzled. (who wouldn't?) Can you help the merchant's wife by finding out how many gold coins they have?

L to R: MSgt Rick Larson Vehicle Operations SNCO of the Year, AIC Andrea Burnett Professional Airman of the Year and SrA Jason Larsen Airman Technician of the Year. Also honored but deployed right now were SSgt Eric Jones Professional NCO of the Year, and SSgt Phillip Fowler NCO Technician of the Year. Congratulations to all for a job well done!
