| TSgt Joe Taitano, Eglin AFB FL, arrived at his "combat" retirement in a Kenworth. Although the rain forced them to indoor plan B, it didn't put a damper on their celebration of Joe's 22 years of service to our country. SMSgt JJ Johnson, Keesler AFB MS, came down to join in the festivities. Congratulations Joe and good luck in all your future endeavors. | ||

SrA Gregory Glenn is notified of his selection to SSgt (out of cycle) by LtGen Hughey,Deputy Commander USTRANSCOM Scott AFB IL. Greg's fellow 2T1s weren't real nice about the notification. Greg had just finished their first DV run with the newly appointed General and was told the General wanted to see him in his office about his actions during the run. Not Nice!! Obviously surprised, Greg was coined and presented with his SSgt stripes. Congratulations to Greg and to his buddies for pulling that off. |
