| The folks at 60th TRANS Veh Ops Flight, Travis AFB CA, loaded and moved the 17ft tall 22X18 outdated Air Control Tower Cab, weighing over 51,000 lbs, to a temp home where it will be restored and then moved to Travis' future Jimmy Doolittle Air and Space Museum. SSgt Lounsbury was the T/T operator, 50K F/L was AIC Sturm and 10K F/L was SSgt Gomez, SrA Baltajian and SrA McKinion. | A 20-25 vehicle pile up on I-5 near McChord AFB Wash, included a 62TRANS Veh Ops van driven by an Honor Guard member. I am told the driver was extracted from the van using the jaws of life and several Honor Guard members were injured, thankfully none seriously. Hooking up the van to the wrecker are SSgt Yamzon, AIC Bernard and operator AIC Morales. Be careful out there! | ||
