This screwdriver was kicked up on the highway and lodged in the windshield of a bus being driven by AIC Jose Mori of Charleston AFB SC. Scary as this incident was Jose kept a cool head, maintained control of the bus and drove to back to base with the screwdriver lodged in place. A very good reminder that the flightline is not the only place you have to worry about FOD. Jose's supervisors commend him for maintaining control of a situation that could have been disasterous! Great work Jose! |

More on FOD. Not sure where this was but I received pix from SSgt Jonathan "Love Tool" Tucker at Yokota AB Japan. Now this is a great reason for FOD checks! I don't know about you but I think this guy is just a little nuts! |

TSgt Mike Lindemann leaves HQ AETC/LGTV, Randolph AFB TX, for RAF Mildenhall UK. Mike spent about 8 months with us at base level before we had to let him go to the HQs. Was a great loss for our organization, and will be a great loss for all of AETC as well. But take heed AETC, you now have TSgt Marty Lund on staff, and he is a great addition!
